WWE Superstar Finn Bálor recently announced on Twitter that his father had recovered from COVID-19 and is well once again. The news came as a big relief to the wrestling world. His father had a thing or two to say, however.

In the video shared with the good news, Finn Bálor’s father jokingly says that Brock Lesnar is next! The wrestling world has been wishing the Bálor family well after this announcement.

Bálor’s father was among the unfortunate masses of people who had contracted COVID-19. His age meant that a lot was at stake. However, he soldiered through and beat the virus and is now recovering to full health.

Times have been hard for Fintan Devitt. In less than a year, he underwent a triple heart bypass surgery and a hip replacement. Bálor announced the news on Father’s Day to spread the word about what his father had been through.

Bobby Lashley and John Canton were among the many to congratulate Bálor on Twitter and tease Lesnar.

Finn Bálor and Lesnar have locked horns before

Finn Bálor fought Lesnar at Royal Rumble 2019. Fighting spiritedly, Bálor was able to give Lesnar a run for his money. Things were looking good for Bálor.

However, Lesnar kicked out from the Coup de Grace (Bálor’s finishing move) and immediately countered with a Kimura Lock. Bálor was forced to tap out.

Soon, Bálor moved to NXT and has become a permanent member of the roster now. Everyone awaits this crowd-favorite to make his return to the main roster.

Perhaps Lesnar may take up Bálor’s father’s challenge. You never know what ticks off WWE Superstars there days!

Brock Lesnar himself hasn’t been seen in WWE since his loss to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania this year. There were talks that the former Universal Champion may return for SummerSlam but that won’t be happening either.

Both Superstars are set for major returns to headliners, and may very well meet each other in the future.

Finn Bálor has a load off his shoulders now that his father has recovered, and will soon be back to his old self. We hope that the rest of the year goes smoothly for Bálor and his family.
