Cody Rhodes clinched a historic win last Saturday in Men’s Royal Rumble straight after coming back from injuries. The American Nightmare entered at No 30 and eliminated 5 stars to confirm his ticket to WrestleMania. This terrific win has garnered overwhelming responses from all over the world. Social media erupted with congratulatory messages for this 37-year-old superstar. But surprisingly, his entry to the ring was no secret at all. During a conversation on WWE’s The Bump show, the star poured his heart out regarding this issue for the very first time since his win.

”I know a lot of people with the rumble they like surprises… right!!… we could have been a surprise for sure but for me, I didn’t wanna be a surprise because I wanted to call my shots.. ah… which is bold and ambitious but my whole career the successful part has been when I rolled the dice.”, Cody explained while asked about his previously announced entry.

Despite not being as technical as the tag team bouts, many fans have rumble matches on their favorite watch lists. Whether it is a celebrity demonstrating their quality, or watching the seeds planted for future storylines, Royal Rumble offers a lot of fun for the fans. 2023 didn’t disappoint at all. We saw Roxanne Perez’s surprise entry, Asuka and Piper Niven’s entrance after a long gap, Brock Lesnar’s humiliating elimination, Michelle McCool’s entry from the crowd, and many more. Though fans highly expected The Rock to appear in the 2023 Royal Rumble, unfortunately, it was not the case.

However, Fans can’t keep calm until WrestleMania 39 to see Cody Rhodes keeping his word once again.
