“I Was Like I’m Not Sure..” – Montez Ford Explains His Reactions to Bianca Belair Making the First Move In Their Relationship

The wrestling industry is filled with power couples. From Triple H and Stephanie McMahon to Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch, each couple is setting different couple goals for WWE fans. And recently, another name has been added to the list of fan-favorite couples.

WWE fans are excited to see Bianca Belair and Montez Ford in a reality TV show that will revolve around their relationship. But before that, the couple came forward and gave an interview with Sherri Shepherd. During the interview, a segment came where the host asked them about who made the first move. To this Bianca replied without hesitation that she was the one to do that.

Then Sherri moved her focus to Montez and asked what was his feeling when Bianca made the first move.

To this Montez replied, “I didn’t mind and some moves just have to be made…you know…. you just gotta roll with the punches….but also I was being respectful, because like I was seeing like some signs but…. I was like I’m not sure …like is she with it or not, I’m trying to be respectful and then….like you know that final move was made”

Bianca and Montez met each other during their NXT days. Even though the feelings were mutual, but still it took them a little longer to come together. The main reason behind this was Montez’s shy nature. However, when Bianca finally made the first move, the couple started dating and in June 2017, Belair announced their engagement. And, a year later on June 23, 2018, they tied the knot.

Both Bianca Belair and Montez Ford are quite open about their relationship. The couple even took part in a reality TV show on Hulu. And, they both never fail to give the WWE fans ‘couple goals’.

If we talk about the current run of Bianca Belair in WWE, she is the Raw women’s champion. She won the title at WrestleMania 38 by defeating Becky Lynch. Bianca has recently defended her title against Alexa Bliss at the Royal Rumble 2023.

Now, she will defend her championship at WrestleMania 39 against the winner of the six-superstar elimination chamber match which is set to happen this weekend.
