Rhea Ripley might soon move to the WWE main roster. However, she revealed that she expected the shift to happen much before.

While speaking to Lilian Garcia, she said she expected to move brands during the WWE Draft 2020. Nobody from WWE NXT was eligible for changing brands during the draft. However, unexpected call-ups are always a possibility during the drafts.

On the other hand, Ripley doesn’t want to leave the Black and Gold brand immediately. She believes that there are opportunities that can be capitalized on, talent that she is yet to face inside the ring, and other experiences that are waiting to come her way.

“I was waiting for it and then it didn’t, I would like to go to Raw or SmackDown, but at the same time, there are so many people in NXT that I haven’t faced yet and I feel like there is so much more that I can still do. I would love to wrestle Candice [LeRae], especially now that her whole persona has changed, I would love to wrestle Indi Hartwell, Shotzi [Blackheart], I want to wrestle Raquel [Gonzalez] again, I would love to do a stipulation match with her.”

Rhea Ripley will be a part of upcoming NXT event

WWE may not have heard her wish during the draft but the company heard what she wanted for the upcoming WarGames.

Considering that she wanted to participate at the upcoming event, WWE has made her a part of Team Shotzi for WarGames.

WWE changed Rhea Ripley’s character after she suffered a loss to Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania. She revealed that the entire process was difficult for her.

“I’m not really sure, it did feel like that though. I have gone through a stage where I did start losing the confidence in myself because I was just not being portrayed in the way that I was, you know? I started, like even now I’m slowly building myself back up from it. My confidence was definitely tainted a little bit which sucks because I try and like keep it up and do my best all the time. I don’t know if it was just something inside my head that just wasn’t getting the picture. I got a little bit lost.”
