“I Would Love That”: Former Women’s Champion Eager for Roman Reigns’ Distant Bloodline Relative’s Much-Rumored WWE Return at Royal Rumble 2024

The possibility of seeing prominent wrestlers return to the WWE is the main reason for the enthusiasm surrounding the Royal Rumble. Perhaps this explains why, when the countdown starts during the Royal Rumble bout, the supporters count backward with utter excitement.

Recently, Bayley participated in an interview on ‘Gabby AF.’ When asked if she would mind if a distant relative of “The Bloodline” made a comeback to the WWE at the Royal Rumble, she gave a brief overview of their past and expressed her desire to see it happen. Bayley wants to see Naomi performing in the Rumble

The former women’s champion was asked for her thoughts on the return of Naomi (AKA Trinity). FYI, she is also the wife of Roman Reigns’ cousin and Bloodline member Jey Uso. Well, Bayley said that she would love to see the current TNA Knockouts World Champion appear at the Rumble. She said, “I would love that but she eliminated me once at WrestleMania battle-royale or something so I would steer clear of her but it would be fun to watch.”

Despite highlighting that Naomi eliminated her in a WrestleMania Battle Royale, Bayley still wants to see her back in WWE’s squared circle. Maybe she wants to settle the score by eliminating the latter. But did you know? If Naomi appears in the Rumble, it won’t be the first time that we will see a Knockouts Champion of TNA fighting in the WWE.

WWE once walked through the ‘forbidden door’

Ever heard of the term ‘forbidden door’? In the realm of pro wrestling, it means that wrestling promotions work together and share their talents with each other. At the Royal Rumble 2022, WWE walked through the forbidden door to welcome six-time WWE women’s champion Mickie James.

On top of that, many other legends, such as Nikki Bella, Brie Bella, Michelle McCool, Kelly Kelly, and Lita, also made their return at the 2022 Royal Rumble. Truly, WWE is known to perform the unimaginable, and with Triple H as the creative head, anything can be achieved by the promotion in terms of booking. Maybe the Stamford-based promotion could walk through the forbidden door again and bring Naomi back to the WWE, at least for an evening.
