The hot topic lately is John Cena’s retirement from WWE. The Hollywood star and 16-time World Champion has teased his retirement on several occasions. The teases started doing rounds after the star addressed his age at the media scrum following the 2023 Fastlane. They became stronger after he was defeated by Solo Sikoa at the 2023 Crown Jewel. Now that the star had recently talked about what would be his dream final match would be, he recently talked about how he would love to spend his time after retiring from WWE.

How does John Cena want to spend his retirement doing?

The Leader of the Cenation was present on the latest episode of Logan Paul’s podcast, IMPAULSIVE. During the conversation, he talked about how he would love to spend his retirement days and it looks like he is going to be a part of WWE even after retirement. When asked whether he would take an executive role just like Triple H after retirement, Cena stated, I think what I would love to give to the business is just my time and I live very close to the performance center.”

He further added, “I would like to go in as a guest that way I’m not obligated and they’re not obligated.” Cena further stated that he often does this in his free time and would love to continue doing it after his retirement. “I love going in just picking people’s brains and having conversations about like so ‘who are you’ and they’re being like ‘what is that to doing anything oh only everything let’s talk.”

As stated by the star himself during the Fastlane media scrum, his retirement is inevitable. He had stated that he was not able to move the way he used to and fans noticed it that night. Cena even posted a message on his social media for his fans that hinted at his retirement.

However, if John Cena does wish to retire, where does he want to have his last match to be?

Where will be the final battle?

Cena has often shown love for the city of London. In an interview with the BBC One show, the 46-year-old star stated that he wishes his final match to be in London, United Kingdom. Considering how WWE is now focusing on more Premium Live Events on the foreign soils, this might be a possibility soon.

While he is not sure who he wants to go against, one WWE star has shown his interest in fighting him. The Legend Killer, Randy Orton has expressed his desire to fight Cena on an episode of WWE’s The Bump. He stated that this would be his dream match. For me pro wrestling has two things that I like the most, storytelling and fighting. Let?s just say movies are failing to keep me entertained in those departments. I grew up watching WWF and not WWE and any hardcore fan will agree that the two are not the same, but I love both iterations.
