In an interview with SK Wrestling’s Rick Ucchino, the former NXT superstar said that he is open to teaming with Bad Bunny. According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Priest and Bad Bunny could face Miz and Morrison at WrestleMania.

“That’s been brought up to me by other people as well. I read the reports like everybody else did, so I don’t know, but I will say this… That guy is so talented and so determined to achieve what he wants on his terms that if he wanted to do this, or he wanted to transition or wanted to wrestle, I’m sure he could achieve it.”

The artist is a big WWE fan

Bad Bunny has been a wrestling fan for most of his life. People have frequently seen the rapper at wrestling shows, and they have photographed him alongside a lot of WWE Superstars. He produced a new single called Booker T, a tribute to the former World Champion.

“He’s not even supposed to have the success he has in his profession now, but he figured out a way to make it work. He’s just a good human being–that always helps–and if he wanted to [wrestle] I’m sure he could,” said Priest. The artist performed a jaw-dropping cross body on Miz and Morrison at the Royal Rumble PPV.

“Hell, I don’t care what I’m doing. First of all, I’m just trying to be on WrestleMania. It can be in any way, shape or form, so to get in with someone like him and his caliber of status in this world… sign me up, please!”

If Priest does end up on the WrestleMania card, a match alongside 2020’s biggest artist would be phenomenal.

Damian Priest will have to do the heavy lifting in the match, but the former North American Champion can hold his own.
