“If He Wasn’t Such a Dips**t”: Fans Hit Out at Dwayne Johnson for DC Exit After Trailer of a New Superhero Movie Wins Their Hearts

Hollywood has had over the years several huge and hit superstars. However, only a few of them have been able to reach the status of Dwayne Johnson. Johnson is one of the most popular stars, both in Hollywood and in the pro-wrestling sector. Dwayne Johnson’s most recent film, Black Adam, came out last year in October and was claimed as a flop.

The film failed to maintain its hype and did not earn enough at the box office. It also received several negative and critical reviews from critics.

Recently on 26th January, Shazam 2’s second trailer came out, and fans were already head over heels for the trailer. The first part of the film was a huge hit, and fans loved the new aspect that the film brought to the DCEU.

However, it was also rumored that Dwayne Johnson was supposed to appear in the first part of Shazam. Johnson instead decided on skipping it and made his debut instead in his own solo film. The critics absolutely hated his film ‘Black Adam‘.

However, no sooner did the new trailer of Shazam 2 come out, fans started pointing out how amazing the film looked, and what a big mistake Johnson made by not joining the film, and instead skipping it. DCEU fans were livid by the trailer and enjoyed every moment. They also did not skip a beat for criticizing Dwayne Johnson about missing Shazam and instead starring in Black Adam.

 Fans criticize Dwayne Johnson on skipping Shazam and making Black Adam

Superhero and DCEU fans were in love with the film Shazam when it first came out. And, are currently loving the new trailer of sequel as well. The first film was a fresh approach to the dark and gritty DCEU. And, everyone, from fans to the critics, loved how they revolutionized the cinematic universe with one film.

However, fans also noticed how Dwayne Johnson‘s Black Adam fell flat on its face, and was rejected a sequel, while Henry Cavill was also rejected from playing Superman further. This prompted the fans to criticize Johnson for his decisions.

Dwayne Johnson’s decision to step away from the DCEU might prove costly to him. Black Adam ended on a cliffhanger, and fans wanted to see more of him. Dwayne Johnson was previously reported to make his debut in Shazam. However, he did not do so, and made his debut in his own solo film.

Fans are now unsure of whether Dwayne Johnson will make his comeback to the DCEU or not.
