Known for his work on Straight Outta Queens, Richie Castaldo tweeted that The Rock is putting down other movies while flexing about Black Adam. But The Rock responded in his own fashion, turned flexing in his gym terms, and gave credit to DC’s dedication to Black Adam and the future projects to come.

If you’re thinking about what sparked this sudden comment from Castaldo. The Rock tweeted appreciating the work and effort that costume designers in the movie put to bring the comics to life. While most people thought that this was Johnson appreciating the work of people who don’t get showcased, Castaldo blamed DJ for undermining Marvel movies.

During the initial phases of Marvel movies, the biggest criticism thrown their way was not showcasing comic outfits. While Marvel has rectified this, for example, the Scarlet Witch in the new Doctor Strange movie. But DC has always stuck to its iconic character’s costumes. Dwayne Johnson completely thwarted any attempt of Castaldo to bring this debate to the surface again.
