The world’s strongest man Mark Henry retired back in 2017. Although he had many accolades to his name (including a Hall of Fame position), Henry is willing to come back to ring again. However, that scenario comes with terms and conditions and a special opponent.

In a recent interview with Heavy.com, Mark Henry said he would come out of his retirement to face Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. The reason for choosing Rock as the opponent is also exciting.

“I’m 2-0 against The Rock,” Henry said. “I think I should give him the opportunity to get one to get a ‘chip against me. I think if I was to come out of retirement and wrestle somebody, I would say, “Hey man. You wrestling again, huh? You know you never beat me. Don’t that bother you a little bit?

“You should wanna get that ‘chip…” and see what he says. He would say, ‘Your ass is going down this time! You might as well go on and look up at the lights!’ I would have to look at the lights,” Henry concluded.

His last full-length match took place in 2013 at WrestleMania 29 against John Cena. Since then, The Rock made occasional appearances on WWE TV and focused mainly on his Hollywood Career.

On the other hand, Mark Henry had his last match at WrestleMania 33 in April 2017, during which he unsuccessfully competed in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. He still works in WWE as a backstage producer and helps younger talents.

Mark Henry will turn 50 next year but is in tremendous shape. He accomplished a lot in his professional wrestling career as a one-time WWF European Champion and a two-time world champion. He retired in 2017 and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2018.

There were rumors of The Rock vs. Roman Reigns at next year’s WrestleMania. If that actually takes place, then maybe Mark Henry vs. The Rock will also happen.
