“I’m Getting Goosebumps” – Big E’s First Comments After Winning the WWE Championship on Raw

The SmackDown Superstar, Big E, cashed in his Money In the Bank briefcase right after Lashley retained his title over RAW Tag Team Champion Randy Orton in the main event.

His New Day mates Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods appeared in a backstage interview with Kevin Patrick. Big E celebrated his win on tonight’s Raw and as the show went off the air.

Big E is grateful to his friends and his humble beginings

In the backstage interview, Big E is still fathoming his historic victory over Bobby Lashley. He also said thanks to his best friends of the ‘New Day’ – Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods.

“It’s the moments that I really treasure. And, I’m getting goosebumps just thinking about the moment. I go out, my music, that crowd has seen me dozen times. To have people, your peer, the fans, and these two jacka**es [pointing towards Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston]. It means the world to me, so I appreciate it for sure.”

The WWE Champion humbly talks about the time used to fight the authority to get some TV time. He also said that he is grateful that nothing in his career was handed out to him, and he had to earn it.

“I will always remember the three of us, fighting to get on TV and we’ve been able to do so many incredible [things]. I’m glad that it took so long because it feels earned. I’m glad that I wasn’t handed things right away. That I had time to grow, to do all the things we had chances to do.” Big E said.

All of Big E’s peers and family are congratulating him for this massive milestone in his career. A milestone that seems delayed, but it is well deserved.
