Edge pauses his WrestleMania decision till Elimination Chamber

Shane McMahon made an unannounced return to Raw, announcing the participants in the Elimination Chamber match. He announced that Drew McIntyre will defend his WWE Championship against six of Raw’s top talent inside the daunting structure. Interestingly, all his opponents are former World Champions- Randy Orton, AJ Styles, The Miz, Jeff Hardy and Sheamus.

Edge walked to the ring and cut a promo on how he liked his odds against the winner of the Elimination Chamber match. While Roman Reigns and Finn Balor are waiting for his decision, he could choose the winner of the Elimination Chamber match. He doesn’t expect Drew McIntyre to walk out of the Chamber as champion, which is why he will pause his decision.

The Miz, John Morrison and Angel Garza cut him off and confronted him in the ring. Miz reminded Edge that while he might be the Ultimate Opportunist, he holds the MITB contract.

He declared that after WrestleMania, if Edge wins the title, he can expect a cash-in from the ‘A-Lister.’ Edge reminded Miz of how he put the MITB concept on the map, and he does not see the difference between them.

Will the Ultimate Opportunist strike at Elimination Chamber?

No Superstar has generated so much buzz after winning the Royal Rumble. Champions are eagerly awaiting Edge’s decision with bated breath, hoping he would choose them.

While a match with Edge guarantees a WrestleMania main event, it could also give Edge’s opponent the biggest match of their life.

On SmackDown, Roman Reigns stated clearly that he should be the champion Edge should face at WrestleMania. Drew McIntyre wants his match with Sheamus so he can prepare for the Rated-R Superstar. Finally, a match with Finn Balor at WrestleMania will do wonders for the NXT brand.

So, who will suffer a Spear at the hands of Edge at the Elimination Chamber? Will we see Drew McIntyre emerge from the Chamber match only to eat a Spear from Edge, or will we see a new WWE Champion emerge? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
