Edge posted an emotional Instagram post about working together with Rey Mysterio and his son Dominik Mysterio in tag-team action on this Friday night SmackDown in his ongoing feud with Roman Reigns.

The Rated R Superstar has shared the ring with Mysterio for a long time in the WWE both as the tag team match-ups and one-on-one matches. The two veterans have great chemistry together and are wonderful friends off the screen.

Edge is going to step in the ring for a match before he goes toe to toe against his arch-nemesis Roman Reigns who will face him at Money in the Bank PPV.

He took to Instagram with an emotional message about how his time wrestling with Rey Mysterio and expressed a sense of pleasure for having worked with his son Dominik.

The two-time Royal Rumble winner also hinted that this might be the last time that we see these two together inside the squared circle because they are approaching the final chapter of their wrestling careers.

“I do know the window is closing. So this Friday on Smackdown, I’m gonna savor it. I get to share the ring, maybe for the last time, with my dear friend who I can honestly say I love.

Rey is a living legend. It’s tossed around too much, but in this case it is without one iota of a doubt, true. And to be here for even a tiny part of Dom’s ride? Man, I’m so proud to go out there with them. In front of our people. Finally. Can’t wait Houston. Can’t wait.” Edge wrote in the memory of their golden days together.

Will Edge win the Universal Championship at Money in the Bank?

Edge is currently focused on winning the title from ‘The Head of the Table’, with his momentum from last week’s SmackDown and his revenge on Reigns, he certainly seems more focused now.

WWE is also featuring Seth Rollins into the mix as well where Edge said that Rollins used him as bait against John Cena to bring the Authority back in the WWE.

With his newfound momentum and experience to back it up inside the ring maybe The Rated R Superstar is finally ready to close this Reigns’ chapter and become the Universal champion for the first time at Money in the Bank.
