“I’m Grateful” – Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson Thanks Family and Fans For Thoughtful Birthday Gifts

WWE and Hollywood’s top star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson turned 49 on May 2. After receiving innumerable wishes, The Rock finally gave an insight into what he received as birthday gifts.

He recorded the video at 2 in the morning as he showed the gifts. Johnson revealed he has been so busy that he could not open the presents, expressed his utmost gratitude to his family, friends, and loved ones.

There were multiple gifts, including some handwritten notes, hand-painted cards, gym equipment, and a huge buffalo skull painting. He thanked everyone for their effort and kindness.

In the caption for the IGTV video, ‘The People’s Champion’ reiterated his gratitude. He revealed how at this point in life, “when someone gives me an ounce of effort of just being kind – it really moves me.”

Life is so busy, noisy… so the little things mean so much more to me these days. Little efforts. I look at these incredibly thoughtful gifts and read these handwritten cards that say the most beautiful, thoughtful, and searing words. Man, I’m grateful.”

The Rock is ready to take on another exciting role in DCEU

At this point, the biggest project of his Hollywood career is DC Studios’ ‘Black Adams’ where Johnson plays the titular anti-hero career. However, before the movie finished, The Rock has another news for the fans.

Johnson has been cast as the voice of Krypto the Super-Dog in the upcoming animated movie, “DC League of Super-Pets.” Krypto is the pet of Superman.

The animated DC film focuses on Superman’s dog, who teams up with a flying cat to stop crime while his owner is on vacation. It’s set to release in theaters on May 20, 2022.

Apart from this, the highest-paid actor in Hollywood has quite the itinerary. The most recent ones include Disney’s “Jungle Cruise,” (set for July 30), as well as Netflix’s “Red Notice.”

Keeping all this in mind, it is highly unlikely fans would see The Rock back in the ring anytime soon. There were rumors of him coming back to face his cousin Roman Reigns at WrestleMania. That plan has been shelved for the upcoming year or two.
