“I Still Love Him”: Hulk Hogan’s First Wife Proclaimed Affection for Him Despite Calling Their Marriage a ‘War’

Divorces usually involve a lot of complexities with it. A lot depends on the reason for the said separation, but it is certainly not easy. And when the two parties involved are famous personalities, it becomes all the messier. Hulk Hogan divorcing Linda after more than two decades of companionship surprised many. However, the latter had nothing but good words for the legend after their parting ways were finalized. The name of The Hulkster in wrestling immortality has never been in doubt. The kind of impact that he had could not be matched by many. Everything Hogan does is always in the public eye and his divorce was nothing different. Although both parties blame each other, it was heartening to see Linda praising Hogan even after their separation.

She said, “The war is over, I still love him. He’s the father of my children“.”When you’re married to someone for 23 years … you hope for the best …. We just got torn apart“. Said The Immortal One according to a report in People.

In a later statement, the former wife of Hogan said, “My husband took the big step of stopping this escalating war by making the decision to put this behind us. I am grateful to him for realizing that our family can be happier and stronger by working together. He and I both love our family dearly and look forward to working together to make it stronger than it has ever been. My family means the world to me“.

Both of them have two kids together, Brooke and Nick. The latter endured quite a tough time first with an accident and then an arrest for his actions. His father and sister looked at the positive side in the long run. Hogan oversaw quite a turbulent personal life but enjoyed a lot of success in his professional life. His impact can only be matched by wrestler-turned-actors Dwayne Johnson and John Cena.

Hulkamania wasn’t just a fan-circle

The Hulkamania movement was quite high back in the 80s. Some would say that Vince McMahon deserves credit, but Hogan does have a sizable role in making the promotion of what it is today.
