Former WWE Champion The Miz celebrated his 40th birthday in 2020. Completing forty years for a professional wrestler may not be a good sign in terms of injuries. As for The Miz, he believes he’s still in his prime at the age where retirement is contemplated.

A wrestling career is more often than not an unsafe career. Unlike legendary names like Stone Cold Steve Austin or The Undertaker, many wrestlers fade into obscurity once their careers end. As for men like John Cena and The Rock, a lucrative Hollywood career beckons.

Wrestlers like The Miz fall in between the aforementioned categories. He’s been a very successful wrestler and has already broken into the world of movies. He’s starred in WWE’s most iconic move franchise The Marine and is currently the host of a game show on the USA Network called Cannonball.

On Twitter, a fan asked Miz if he considered retiring, given he already has a confirmed place in the WWE Hall of Fame. The Miz had a defining response to the question, saying that he was in his prime.

Calling his current success a career revival is inaccurate for someone like The Miz. Like Chris Jericho and Randy Orton, Miz has become one of WWE’s and the entire industry’s most evergreen talents. He will always be over with the fans and will always get a reaction from them, irrespective of where his career is leading.

Two nights after suffering a humiliating defeat at the hands of Damian Priest and Bad Bunny, The Miz and John Morrison got back on the right track. They faced Damian Priest in a two-on-one handicap match and emerged victorious after an interference by a familiar face.

Miz’s wife Maryse made her return to WWE Raw and proved lucky for her husband. She jumped atop the ring apron as Damian Priest pulled down her husband’s pants and almost put him away.

She saved Miz and Morrison from a second embarrassing loss in a row, and they can now safely move on to another feud. Miz can focus on getting his WWE Championship back from Bobby Lashley, or he and Morrison can pursue the Raw Tag Team Championships. A match between them and AJ Styles and Omos would entertain everyone.
