When Jake Paul went up against Ben Askren, there were quite a few who thought the match was a show. Many commented about it, but of course, nothing was proven. Now, over time, fans have predicted Paul’s next big match, and recently, Booker T came under the radar.

It was predicted that the next match is between Jake Paul and Booker T. However, King Booker isn’t interested in being another Ben Askren, indicating that Paul vs Askren was for the paycheck and the hype, and not to actually fight.

He gave a fitting response to the prediction, shutting down any type of ongoing rumour.

If Booker T wants to be in a fight with someone, he’ll say that himself. No one would need to speak on his behalf!

Booker T recently made a WWE appearance

The WWE Legend recently made an appearance at WWE during WWE SmackDown: April 1st, 2022. He was there to induct his wife, Queen Sharnell, to the WWE Hall of Fame.

He showered her with praise, before chanting Hail Queen Sharmell with the audience. This was a beautiful moment during the ceremony which showcased the bond between Booker T and Queen Sharmell.

She thanked everyone, including her King, and revealed that his support one the years played a key role in her success.

What is King Booker doing now?

The WWE Legend is often present during PPVs, and speaks his mind about the current product.

Additionally, he’s active on his podcast, where he speaks about the different headlines of the wrestling world, and analyzes them or gives his opinion about the same. Booker T has been extremely forward about his opinion, and does not shy away from speaking his mind.

During some of these conversations, he revealed that he doesn’t see himself return to pro-wrestling as such. The last time Booker T was in the ring was at WrestleMania XXVIII. He was a part of Team Teddy vs Team Johnny.

Following the match, either Teddy Long or John Laurinairis would control Raw and SmackDown. He was a part of Team Teddy, but Team Johnny secured the victory.

Now, while it doesn’t seem like Booker T will ever return to in-ring wrestling, one can never say never in WWE!
