LA Knight is a sensational superstar on the rise. With his popularity growing at an alarming rate, his push to the top is almost certain. However, every rising superstar has his own share of critics, and it’s no different for Knight. The 40-year-old has been called a Dwayne Johnson rip-off several times, but he’s answered those critics in his own style.

Now, on the latest edition of SmackDown, Knight has responded and taken a jab at one of his critics, WWE legend Kevin Nash, from one of Nash’s old promos during his time in WCW.

After successfully defeating The Miz at Payback, Knight delivered an engaging promo on SmackDown.

However, in the promo, while addressing The A-lister, he took a snarky jab at Nash. With bad blood already brewing between the two, Knight added insult to injury by calling him a “moron”.

According to Public Enemies Podcast, Knight, while talking about The Miz quoted: “If I was a moron I’d say ‘let’s look at the adjective,’ but I’m not a moron so let’s look at the verb.”

This comes as an indirect insult to Kevin Nash, who once made an error on national television in WCW in an interview with Eric Bischoff along with the late Scott Hall, by calling the word “play” an adjective, despite it being a verb. While Nash’s statement of: “Look at the adjective – play” went unnoticed in WCW, Knight definitely tapped into it and subtly took a shot at the legend.

With this, he has established who’s the real deal in WWE at the moment. This also comes as a response to a former member of nWo who once called the 40-year-old a Dwayne Johnson copy.

Kevin Nash enduring the consequences of his actions

A few months back, on his podcast, Kliq This, Nash surprised fans across the globe when he addressed the leader of the Yeah movement as a Dwayne Johnson rip-off.

He also taunted Knight for his struggling career by saying how he’s been in the industry for over 10 years and still hasn’t gone over in the business.

Unfortunately for Diesel, fans didn’t take this lightly as they berated him on social media. The uproar was so intense that he had to issue a public apology for his words. But that hasn’t stopped Knight, who continues to take shade at the legend, as evidenced by his actions on SmackDown.
