“I’m not gonna make you wait for answers. I’m kicking of Monday Night Raw to tell you my motivation. And you’re not gonna wanna miss it.”

Nobody from the WWE Universe will want to miss John Cena answering the where, when, what, and why.

John Cena will probably face Roman Reigns first

Cena returned to Money in the Bank 2021 and confronted The Tribal Chief. Even though there hasn’t been a clear word on if the match is confirmed, WWE has been trying to book Cena vs Reigns for SummerSlam 2021.

Considering he arrived right after Reigns defeated Edge and retained the Universal Championship title, it’s a given that Cena is here to challenge Roman Reigns before anyone else.

Coming to why Cena is kicking off Monday Night Raw, it’s probably because of ratings. SmackDown will gather ratings now because of Cena’s return. Undoubtedly, WWE would want Raw to reap some benefits from his return, and hence, he’s kicking off Monday Night Raw.

However, it doesn’t seem like John Cena will work under Raw to challenge any of the top guys with the red brand, especially, Bobby Lashley. Moreover, WWE is planning to bring back Goldberg to book him against Lashley at SummerSlam 2021. If all goes according to plan, two returning Superstars will take on the current champions of WWE at SummerSlam 2021.

Nevertheless, there’s always a chance Cena will work with both WWE brands simultaneously but focus on his feud with Roman Reigns primarily.
