While WWE Superstar Sami Zayn has been making the headlines on WWE over the past few months, we have never got a glimpse of his wife till date. However, in an exclusive interview with the global juggernaut, Zayn’s wife Khadija has opened up about her husband’s ongoing feud with Roman Reigns.

For those who are unaware, Sami is scheduled to take on the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns at the Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event. There have also been talks of the 38-year-old headlining WrestleMania along with the tribal Chief and 2023 Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes. However, nothing is confirmed as of now.

Sami Zayn’s wife talks about her husband’s feud with the Head of The Table

WWE recently released an interview with Sami’s wife, which is her first appearance ever in front of the camera. In the two-minute-long video, Khadija highlighted her nervousness, as Zayn is just hours away from stepping into the ring for perhaps the biggest match of his wrestling career. She also weighed in on the former Bloodline member’s efforts to reach where he is right now.

“I just get goosebumps thinking what tomorrow night is gonna be like. It’s gonna be so emotional and just thinking about it, he deserves the world, he deserves this moment. He deserves all the love from everyone in Montreal and the whole WWE Universe. He has worked so hard and I really believe that it’s just gonna be a really memorable moment that we’re never gonna forget for the rest of our lives.”

Further in the interview, Khadija explained her reaction to the moment when Zayn turned on The Tribal Chief. She professed that the moment forced tears out of her eyes and led her to whisper-scream so their son does not wake up from his sleep. Also, she was immensely satisfied with how the storyline took shape and hoped for a WrestleMania worth remembering.

“It was way past our bed time and our son was and I usually watch the TV at volume 2 or 3. So i was standing really close to the TV and when he hit Roman, I was whisper-screaming so loud, because it was the just the best moment, the way the crowd reacted, I was, oh man, I was crying, whisper-screaming, I was just so happy. I was jumping up and down as quietly as possible so that I don’t wake up our son but it just filled my heart. It gave me so much. It gave me so much of satisfaction for all the time and work that went into this moment. So it was pretty satisfying. I mean of course I am nervous but if there’s ever time it would be now because this is his moment, this is our WrestleMania.”

Roman Reigns vowed to destroy Sami Zayn’s family

Sami had proved his loyalty to the Head of the Table before finally setting himself free. Since then, it has been a torturous few weeks for the former ROH wrestler as he has been humiliated time and again by The Bloodline.

In one such segment, after the faction had got the better of Zayn, Roman Reigns made his intentions clear before signing off. He accused his Elimination Chamber opponent of breaking his family and vowed to return the favor in due time. Here is what he said, “You broke my family and I’m gonna break you in front of your entire family.”

While many believe that the Montreal man deserves to be the one to dethrone the Samoan heavyweight, it will not be easy to floor a man who has not been pinned for over three years now.
