WWE NXT has a plethora of superstars on their roster. Despite the large number, every wrestler on-screen is involved in some storyline or another. One such storyline that has slowly worked its way as one of the favorites is the love story between Dexter Lumis and Indi Hartwell. Or shall we say, InDex?

Either way, Hartwell has been head over heels for Lumis for months now. Despite several attempts from The Way to keep her away from Dexter, she has only grown more fond of the silent superstar.

However, the Australian isn’t going to let her family aka The Way make decisions regarding her love life. Not yet, at least.

Will Indi Hartwell and Dexter Lumis come together on WWE NXT?

During a backstage segment on NXT this week, Candice LeRaw was seen blaming Johnny Gargano for Austin Theory walking out last week. Indi, who isn’t talking to Candice, asked Gargano to let her know it’s all her fault.

Before the two could argue any further, a special delivery came in for Hartwell. She opened the gift to find a hand-drawn caricature of The Way. The caricature saw Theory leaving ‘The Way’ family, while Lumis is standing strongly with Indi, Johhny, and Candice.

While Indi loved the artwork, The Garganos did not. Johnny immediately said he doesn’t like or respect Dexter Lumis. He also added he would never allow him to be a part of their family. Candice LeRae also chimed in her thoughts on Lumis. She said, “He isn’t good enough to be with Indi.”

Indi Hartwell didn’t seem impressed with the response and stepped up for her love. She suggested that just like other things in the family, why don’t they settle it all in the ring.

Hartwell then added a stipulation, stating if Dexter wins, Candice and Johnny cannot control Indi’s life anymore. However, Candice LeRae made sure the stipulations are a two-way street. She added that if Johnny Gargano wins, then Indi cannot date Dexter no matter what. ‘Impressive’ happily obliged and headed to Mr. Regal’s office.

Later in the night, it was confirmed that Dexter Lumis would take on Johnny Gargano next week in a ‘Love Her or Leave Her’ Match on WWE NXT. Now, the stakes cannot get any higher for InDex. If they hope to be together, then Dexter has to win next week.

Who knows? We might see Indi Hartwell pulling some tricks to make sure Lumis wins. After all, everything is fair in love and war, right?
