After WrestleMania 38, Edge created The Judgment Day with Damian Priest, after Priest helped him win his match against AJ Styles. By slowly adding new members and growing their powers, the group looked to establish their grip over the roster. However, the Rated R Superstar’s vision had to come to fruition without him, as his own group members turned on him to pave the way forward. Rhea Ripley, Finn Balor, and Damian Priest threw Edge out of the group as they revamped the dynamics. And it seems like Ripley could get a dose of her own medicine with Liv Morgan following suit and joining The Judgment Day.

In fact, she might become the faction’s new leader, according to a wrestling legend.

In the latest edition of the Busted Open podcast, Dave LaGreca and Bully Ray talked about all the WWE storylines, in the present and of the future. And it was during this conversation that Bully Ray came up with a very interesting theory. According to the pro wrestling veteran, The Judgement Day may find a new leader soon. With Rhea Ripley out with an injury and Damien Priest turning against his teammates, Morgan could take over the group by wooing Dom-Dom. He said, “Imagine Liv Morgan infiltrating the Judgment Day. Here’s your story. She uses Dominic to get into the Judgment Day. She takes over The Judgment Day with maybe Priest getting away. Because Priest is telling these guys, ‘I don’t need you, you don’t need me.’ So Priest might be getting himself away from it. The Judgment Day might need some new leadership or guidance.”

He further added, “She gets in in Dominic’s head. Dominic convinces the rest of the guys ‘we could use her’. She takes over the club, she takes Dom’s heart. And now we have the setup for the return of Rhea. ‘You took my man you, took my club, you took my championship, and now I’m coming to take it all back’. It’s right there. I love it, I love it.” It surely sounds like quite a fun theory. In fact, the WWE will want to capitalize on Ripley’s story with Morgan. However, there is another superstar who wants a piece of Mami when she returns.

The new face wants to face the old champ

Mami made it clear that she would go straight for gold as soon as she returned. Warning anyone holding the title at the time that her return would be bloody. Not many would want to face the heat that Ripley emanates. However, that is not the case for Jade Cargill. The former AEW star in a recent appearance on The Babyfaces Podcast, noted that she hopes to be champion by the time The Eradicator returns from injury.

She said, “I have some unfinished business with Nia Jax. That would be great. I think that would be an amazing match. Rhea Ripley, obviously she’s injured right now, but I know she is going to comeback and hopefully I’m holding that belt when she comes back. One thing I know is how to hold a streak down and how to go out there, dominate, and kick bu*t. That would be a great match as well,”

Cargill is currently on the SmackDown roster. However, her aspirations could take shape in a few days when WWE holds its annual Draft. And once she gets on RAW, she would have to face and defeat ‘the Man’ Becky Lynch, who is the new WWE Women’s Champion. What do you think? Would you like to see Cargill square off against Ripley? What did you make of Bully Ray’s suggestion of Liv Morgan taking over The Judgment Day? Let us know in the comments.
