The unlikely alliance between Cesaro and Nakamura has proven to be very successful on the WWE SmackDown roster.

With all the good things that come with the brand split, low roster depth is one major disadvantage. The WWE tag team division has borne the brunt of this problem.

With very few teams competing on both brands, top notch singles competitors in the form of Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura were brought together.

With their distinctive styles converging on the strong style technique, both of them have proven to be very dominant and effective.

That’s why, on the latest episode of SmackDown, they were given their rightfully earned shot at the SmackDown tag team championships.

However, it seems like WWE didn’t want to throw away this match on weekly television. That’s why it ended in chaos with Cesaro and Nakamura being disqualified.

What happened after the match is something that caught the attention of the fans. It seems like we are all set for a very popular gimmick match at the Extreme Rules Horror Show.

As soon as the match ended, Cesaro and Nakamura (WWE should give them a name, very tiring to write both their names repeatedly) decided to make a statement.

The best way to do that in professional wrestling is to of course get out some tables. However, that wasn’t it. A normal slam on the tables wouldn’t really comprise a statement.

They laid down Big E on the table. Post that, they power bombed Kofi through his partner in classic Dudley Boys fashion.

In fact, they even attracted the attention of Bubba Ray Dudley who gave a heart reaction to the tweet uploaded by the WWE.

As good as The New Day are, WWE should not waste any more time in putting the titles on Cesaro and Nakamura.

The duo are red hot at the moment. Needless to say, they will certainly elevate the worth of the titles.

In addition, watching them mix it up with the other talented SmackDown tag teams will certainly be a big treat for the viewers.
