Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is one of the most prolific Superstars to step inside the WWE ring. He has been wrestling since he was in high school. However, his years of dedication to the sport and various Hollywood stunts comes at a cost.

In a recent Instagram post, The Rock gave a tentative list of all the major injuries he sustained during his illustrious career. He listed 14 injuries in total while sharing a picture with him trying on acupuncture as a part of the recovery process.

He wrote, “Even though I look like a wounded, passed out drunk buffalo, laying face down in prairies – can’t tell ya how grateful I am for these quiet healing/recovery moments.”

The “People’s Champ” has had, “4 knee surgeries, torn quadriceps off my pelvis, torn adductor off my pelvis, triple hernia surgery, ruptured Achilles’ tendon, complete shoulder reconstruction, 3 low back disc herniations, and 2 low back disc ruptures,” till now.

The 48-year-old wrestler-turned-Hollywood megastar wrote these injuries/recovery processes remind him to take care of this body.

“It’s the daily reminder that we only have one body and we gotta take care of it,” according to him.

Thanks to his years in wrestling, Johnson suffered from numerous devastating injuries. While this is normal in combat sports, Rock’s list of injuries will put things into perspective for the outsiders.

For the past year, fans have speculated if The Rock will come back to wrestle his cousin, the Universal Champion, Roman Reigns at WrestleMania. Although it is not happening this year, Johnson seems to be getting ready for the upcoming DC movie, Black Adam.

Apart from his gym routine, fans have lots of questions about Johnson’s diet for his enviable physique. In a recent Instagram post, The Rock shared details about his breakfast diet while filming Black Adam.

“Here’s my breakfast from this morning,” he shared. “Steak (buffalo or beef), whole eggs, Oatmeal, Blueberries,” and he topped the first of his six meals per day with the Zoa energy drink.

He also mentioned, “All food is weighed and measured based on my macronutrients needed throughout that particular day and night.” The nutrients “will be adjusted for a variety of reasons as we get closer to the finish line. Everything is precisely measured, until cheat meal day.”
