The Royal Rumble can be the best event of the year, but it can also be horrendous. Most of the time it depends upon the winner of the match, making the finish one of the most heart-stopping moments. The finish of the match is going to be the defining moment of the Royal Rumble match, and this year’s Rumble is about to have a big swerve.

This could mean a hundred different finishes, but that it is scaring the death out of someone is quite harrowing. WWE has made some risky decisions in the Royal Rumble match, and most of them haven’t paid off.

This could point to a big return or a very unusual winner. In the 2019 Royal Rumble, Nia Jax entered at #30 and eliminated Mustafa Ali, before eating a super-kick, 619, and an RKO. Could we be seeing something akin to that, maybe via a certain Fiend?

On the Raw before the Rumble, Alexa Bliss ate a massive RKO from Randy Orton. This rivalry has become quite intense since Orton set the Fiend on fire at WWE TLC. Bliss shot a fireball at Orton’s face and left him wearing a mask to cover his burns.

Alexa Bliss has declared herself for the Rumble match, and we have seen shades of the Fiend while she wrestles. We could see Alexa Bliss enter the men’s Rumble match and eliminate a bunch of superstars and finally transform into the Fiend. This might be the whackiest finish to the Rumble, but it would be one that we won’t stop talking about for years.

Apart from this, there are other surprises that could come our way. The return of Brock Lesnar is big enough to scare a source to death, but it isn’t nearly as jarring as a female superstar winning the men’s Rumble match. Whatever the swerve, the Royal Rumble is always an incredibly entertaining show, and this year’s edition is bound to make headlines.
