The WrestleMania 37 match between Randy Orton and the Fiend was tremendously competitive. Orton dished out lots of punches including three apron DDT’s but the Fiend shrugging it off as always. However, the match ended when Alexa Bliss emerged from the ‘Jack in the box’ with a black outfit and a crown of thorns on her head. The Viper capitalized on the distraction, hitting the RKO for the win.
The fans haven’t seen ‘The Eater of Worlds‘ since. For the moment, Alexa Bliss has taken over as the new queen of the dark arts in WWE. But with a major pay-per-view like Hell in a Cell just around the corner, the fans can’t help but speculate if they will see the Fiend’s return.

The Fiend exacts revenge on Bliss

On the June 14, 2021, episode of Raw, Nia Jax revealed that Shayna Baszler will meet Alexa Bliss at Hell in a Cell. Now since Bliss cost the Fiend his WrestleMania match against Orton, logic would suggest he do the same. With Bliss totally oblivious to the notion of the Fiend’s return, this might be the perfect opportunity. If the Fiend does interfere with Alexa’s match then it opens up the possibility of a new storyline in WWE.

With the added stipulation that McIntyre cannot challenge for the title if he loses to Lashley again, a new storyline awaits. If WWE wants to draft McIntyre to SmackDown, then they will not put the title on him. Instead ‘The Almighty‘ could be defending his championship against the Fiend.
