She wrestled against men on the roster, even winning the Intercontinental Championship, and hence became an icon of the wrestling business. That being said, another Hall of Famer, Jim Ross, wasn’t thrilled about that angle.

Reflecting on this context, Ross noted, ”I’m not a fan of inter-gender wrestling. I understand if you’re booked and looking for a payday; I understand why people would do it. However, I don’t know for the overall health of the wrestling business, if women wrestling men is the thing to do. Even though Chyna had a great physique, it was just a little unrealistic for me. It didn’t feel right to me.”

Chyna worked with a bunch of other male wrestlers, including Eddie Guerrero, Chris Jericho, and a few more.

It seems like she is up for many more. During a recent interview, The Eradicator clearly opposed Ross’ stance. She feels a game shouldn’t be limiting in any way. She even named a crew of superstars whom she wants to see as her male counterparts during her future WWE matches. Ripley’s hit list comprised Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, and Edge.

However, we are yet to be seen how many of them Ripley can really face off in the future and more importantly if WWE will actually be interested in having such matches in the future.
