It’s only natural that the big names of the main roster have their own matches at WrestleMania. Therefore, when the WWE Universe realized that Bayley doesn’t have her own match at The Grandest Stage of All, everyone wanted to know why.
Now, Bayley has explained her absence from the upcoming PPV.
She revealed pitching stories to the company, and trying to find a suitable spot at the event, but none of it worked out.

“I cannot give you an honest answer. I don’t know. I’m sorry guys, it just didn’t happen.
“There’s been so many instances this past year where a lot of the pitches have gone through. You know, it just becomes easier to talk to people and my brain actually starts working and developing the more experience I get. There’s always ideas like that.”
However, she may have teased an appearance, but that completely contradicts her previous statement of a Bayley match not being a possibility for the upcoming WrestleMania.
“Even if there was something, I don’t know if I would tell you guys. It would spoil it. But, umm, yeah, it’s okay. I’ll be here for a long time.”
“I might jump the barricade and steal my own moment. You know, if they’re not going to give me one, I’ll just steal it.”
“I don’t know. I’m sorry guys, it just didn’t happen.”
Bayley says she has pitched stories and matches for WM37, but there are currently no plans. She hasn't wrestled since Feb 19, but she also confirms she has not been injured.

Considering Bayley was one of the biggest Superstars of 2020 from the Women’s division, it’s been quite the shock to realize she might not be a part of the event at all.
Bayley might run interference during a match
Bayley spent a major portion of 2020 as the WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion. Even though she lost the belt to Sasha Banks at WWE Hell in a Cell 2020, the performance she put up was beyond entertaining.
Following that, she was briefly tangled in a feud with Bianca Belair, but that ended rather fast. Since then, she hasn’t been a part of any storyline.

There are several opportunities for Bayley to appear at WrestleMania. One of the best moments for her is during the WWE Women’s SmackDown Championship title match between Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair.
She has feuded with both of them, so an interference from her will add spark to the existing tension in the ring.
