“It Needs Work” – Fans Drop In With Reactions As XFL Star Brian Hill Tries Dwayne Johnson’s Iconic WWE Move on the Field

There are many iconic wrestling moves that have another level of craze among WWE fans. One such move is The Rock‘s People’s Elbow. The way DJ threw his elbow pad toward the crowds after taking it off in style was one of the all-time hits in the WWE universe. The Rock has taken down many opponents with this amazing finishing move over the years. Be it Hulk Hogan or Austin, there are many who couldn’t stand in front of his patented elbow.

XFL star did a strange gesture during the TD celebration

The wrestler-turned-actor never seems tired of wearing many hats at a time. After trying his hands at many other business ventures, the Hollywood sensation turned his head toward the XFL. His businessman instinct, along with his undying passion for football, made him buy an entire football league XFL, during the pandemic crisis in 2020.

The spring American football league’s prominent face, Brian Hill, has delivered his promise as his team, St Louis Battle hawks, fought against DC Defenders in the XFL 2023 play this Sunday. WWE Universe paid attention when Hill went on emulating The Rock by hitting his signature move, the People’s Elbow, as a part of his TD celebration.

Fans reacted on social media immediately after The Rock posted a clip of Hill’s interview after delivering his famous move on the field. The video depicts a journalist appreciating Hill for not letting his recent injury stop him from hitting the People’s Elbow. The star replied, ‘ I know I already promised ESPN I was gonna do the people’s elbow with the first, so I had to keep my word”!

The wrestling world, especially The Rock’s fandom, seems quite happy with this gesture of the 27-year-old XFL star. They came up with their overwhelming response with comments like ‘This People’s Elbow made Record on field. 🔥🔥🔥🔥’, ‘super good’ etc. But some of them found the move incorrect and hence went like, ‘If you’re going to do, do it 100%…that was mid lol’. Some even mocked the People’s Elbow as ‘person’s elbow, ‘corporate elbow’ etc. Some put a constructive criticism saying, ‘it needs work… that’s just an elbow, not the most electrifying move in all sports.’

Apart from such eye-catching moments, the attendance numbers in XFL 3.0 in week three have been pretty well so far, proving that The Brahma Bull’s $15 million investment hasn’t been in vain.
