“It Was a Set-Up”: Kevin Hart Hilariously Reveals Why He Wasn’t Very Happy About Dwayne Johnson Being Titled the Sexiest Man Alive in 2016

Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart’ is one of the most popular duos in the Hollywood industry that fans adore. People love watching them together. And the main reason behind that is the way they try to mess with each other. The same happened a few months ago when Kevin Hart revealed the reason behind not being happy about Dwayne Johnson winning the title of ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ in 2016. And the reason was so hilarious that even Johnson couldn’t stop laughing.

Kevin Hart reveals the reason behind his anger

A few months ago, Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart appeared on the LADbible TV to play the game ‘Agree to Disagree’. In the game, the stars were given some statements, and they either had to agree or disagree with them.

During the game, the host asked Johnson and Hart if they agree with People Magazine’s decision of crowing Dwayne Johnson with the title of ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ in 2016. 

To this Kevin Hart instantly disagree and when Johnson asked him about that he gave a very sarcastic reply. Hart said that he is not upset because Dwayne Johnson won the title, instead he is upset because he wasn’t even considered.

Talking to Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart said, “I have to be honest with you, DJ, I’ve never been more upset in my life. Not, not, not at the fact that you won. At the fact that I wasn’t even considered in that year. That was one of my sexiest years. I’m just putting it out there, DJ.” 

Hart even mentioned that 2016 was one of his sexiest years and he purposely shoot some scenes to be in the run of ‘sexiest man’ that year, but when the decision came out, the critics didn’t even consider him.

“That was one of my sexiest years. There was a lot of shirt-off play that year. There was a lot. On purpose. I really strategically put myself in position to be in the running……….. I just felt like it was a set-up. It was a hoax. I wasn’t even in the running, which is bulls**t.”

Every year, fans eagerly wait for the announcement of Hart and Johnson working together. Till now, both actors have shared the screen in five movies and fans are still waiting for the sixth one.

Central Intelligence (2016) was the movie when fans first witnessed the legendary duo of Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart. Since then, they have been one of the fan-favorite stars of Hollywood.
