Cody Rhodes streamed the AEW event via a pirated source
Recently, Cody Rhodes appeared in the ‘Good Kharma Wrestling Podcast’. There he revealed that he streamed Tony Khan’s AEW podcast through a pirated feed. As soon as fans got to know about this, they came on Twitter and started to put forward their opinion.

These users are finding it funny that a millionaire can’t even pay to stream wrestling through legal sources.
So Cody is admitting that with all that WWE money he's making, he couldn't afford a $50 expense? Goddamn if that ain't cheap on his part.

It’s forever hilarious that millionaire and former AEW exec Cody Rhodes watches the product via pirated streams. I will always remember this information. It will always make me smile.

These fans are waiting for AEW’s reaction to Cody’s statement.
Can't wait for someone on Dynamite to say "the other company doesn't pay their top talent enough to afford a PPV"
— The Dark Knight (@MwizeraUwizera) March 12, 2023
I'm sure the loudest aew fan in the room who claims to be all about aew more than likely pirated the pay-per-view, just like Cody. If It feels worth it, buy it. I don't feel it was worth the money, and I don't blame him.

This is not the first time that a wrestler has admitted to streaming a match via an illegal source. But, Cody Rhodes’ case is a little special.
Rhodes’ special connection with AEW
The Royal Rumble 2023 winner Cody Rhodes is not a regular celebrity who pirated an AEW event. He is the major helping hand behind the inception of Tony Khan’s company. Khan established this professional wrestling company in 2019 with Cody Rhodes and a few other big names by his side. And just in four years, the company became WWE’s prime competitor.
