This week’s Monday Night Raw ended and we are officially one Raw episode away from WrestleMania XL. Emotions are at an all-time high with the gears of one of the greatest stories set in motion. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson returned to team up with his cousin, Roman Reigns, and help him retain his title. But the question is who will help Cody Rhodes? Fans spotted an easter egg during one of the most gruesome moments from tonight’s show and they believe it is no coincidence.

A brutal beatdown ensues

In case you missed it, tonight’s show was a brutal one, especially for Cody Rhodes. He was mauled by the Final Boss of WWE at the backstage. Blood was dripping from his mouth and he was laid to waste by Johnson. However, during this moment, the camera ended up focusing on a poster of John Cena and Stone Cold Steve Austin for a very brief moment.

The segment was after Jey Uso’s match against Shinsuke Nakamura from tonight. Uso went head-on against Nakamura but the match was quickly interrupted by the Bloodline. Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa wanted to injure their brother ahead of the big WrestleMania fight. However, Rhodes and Seth Rollins had his back.

While Rollins took on Sikoa, Rhodes fought Jimmy Uso. The two went backstage with their fight and this is when Johnson attacked the American Nightmare. He used everything he could to make the nightmare bleed.

While many might feel that all hope is lost for Rhodes, the easter egg found by many fans does provide a glimmer of hope for the two-time Royal Rumble winner.

Fans want Dwayne Johnson’s biggest enemies to return

While fans and many former WWE talents have been rallying to see Steve Austin or John Cena return and support Rhodes, it might soon turn into reality. A couple of fans pointed out that in Triple H’s era, almost everything is an easter egg and nothing is done without a purpose.

One fan is happy that “it is happening.” However, the fan might have made a grave prediction. The fan mentioned while the cards might line up against Johnson with the return of Austin and Cena, someone from Bloodline might return too.

A couple of fans believe that the level of storytelling has improved. One fan pointed out that the way things are lining up, the final team-up against Roman Reigns would feel a lot like the 2019 movie, Avengers: Endgame. Another fan believes that the storytelling has been “masterful.”
