“It’s Not Like I Forget People”: Vince McMahon on Keeping in Touch With WWE Legends Like The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin

The Chairman of WWE, Vince McMahon, gave the wrestling world a fantastic showcase for almost four decades. The Big Man and the company introduced us to the many generations of the WWE. However, after many debates and arguments, fans realized that the WWE Attitude Era outruns another wrestling era created by Mr. McMahon. The Big Man never imagined that the Attitude Era would take a hit on the level it went.

Even Mr. McMahon was a part of most of the feuds with The Rock, The Undertaker, Triple H, and Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Imagine the company owner getting in the square and battling against the best in show biz! Today, Vincent Kennedy McMahon was a guest star on the Pat McAfee Show. 

Vince McMahon does not forget people who have always been beside him!

The SmackDown commentator has been excited about this interview for over a week. Additionally, last month even the current WWE Champion Brock Lesnar appeared in Pat McAfee’s studio.

During his interview, Lesnar shared that Vince McMahon is like a father figure to him. In addition, many other superstars such as Hollywood star Dwayne Johnson, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Bill Goldberg have credited Mr. McMahon for their success out of the WWE.

Pat McAfee asked the company owner if he still keeps in touch with the aforementioned superstars.

Vince McMahon replied, “Some, you know, it’s not like I forget people. I love for them to stay in touch with me. But I’m busy doing other things, but I don’t lose contact with those individuals you mentioned. Some that are further down the line, I try to make sure our company [WWE] stays in contact with them.” 

There have been rumors about Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s return to the WWE soon. When Mr. McMahon mentioned he is still in touch with The Rock, did he hint at The Rock’s comeback?

The Boss cherishes every WWE Superstar

Vince McMahon is a different personality from what we see on the television. In addition, Vince McMahon further stated that business is not just a reason to stay in touch with the WWE Superstars.

“It’s good business, but everyone helped pave the way to where we are now. And I’m always appreciative of how small that was or how big that was. I’m always appreciative for everyone who stepped in the ring and helped us to get where we are now,” The Big Man added.

Yes, indeed, Mr. McMahon’s character is a hunky and dominating one. But, after 15 years, he appeared in a live interview with Pat McAfee and smashed all the strange things about him. The Big Man seems to be thankful for every superstar out there that was gracefully a part of the WWE.
