John Cena is one of the most accomplished performers ever to appear in the WWE. His 16 reigns as world champion are proof of his limitless potential. But there have always been some detractors to his wrestling credentials. And a former WWE wrestler has recently raised questions over Cenation Leader’s ability in the squared circle.

Former WWE superstar takes a dig at John Cena’s wrestling skills
Maven, who was a performer with the WWE in the 2000s, recently sat down on the Cafe De Rene podcast. A fan asked his views on Cena. The former WWE Hardcore champion replied, “He fell into the category of like the Lugers of the world that just couldn’t, I mean, he couldn’t. As bad as a, middle of the ground wrestler I was, he was bad. It’s painful to watch him run, it’s painful.”
But Maven acknowledged the fact that Cena had something different about him. “But then again like I said the son of a bi***h was more over than anybody ever could have imagined. And he was a good one, okay he’s good entertainer.” Fair to say that he was not a fan of Cena’s wrestling chops but admires his ability as an entertainer.
