The final match of WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2023 was a WarGames match between The Judgment Day vs. Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn, and Randy Orton. While fans were given a great return in the form of Orton, the match itself was brilliant. JD, featuring Finn Balor, Damian Priest, Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh, and Drew McIntyre, put their best effort into trying during the match. However, one member went above and beyond in their efforts.

The main event was an absolute blast, with each man showcasing their in-ring skill really well. The RKO spot gained a massive pop from the audience.

JD McDonagh and Drew McIntyre were the recent additions to Judgment Day prior to WWE Survivor Series: WarGames. While McIntyre expressed his indifference towards the group, McDonagh always showed his loyalty. Survivor Series: WarGames saw McDonagh eat an RKO off the steel cage, followed by a Cody Cutter. This resulted in Rhodes and Co. picking up the win.

Despite this vicious ending for McDonagh, he showed his loyalty throughout the match. After the event, McDonagh took to social media to post an image of the RKO. He captioned it, “It’s Ride or Die for the Judgment Day. 😈♠️.” If his action within the WarGames cage didn’t prove his loyalty, his words do.

Despite starting off strong and giving it their all, Rhodes’ team could not stand against the numbers game against Judgment Day. However, all this changed once Orton returned. Once Priest asked Ripley to come out with the Money in the Bank briefcase, Orton’s theme hit.

The Viper made his way to the ring and cleared house. Seeing the impending defeat, McDonagh took to climbing the cage. However, Rollins and Zayn were after him. Stopping him at the top of the cage, the duo shove him off. Orton was waiting to catch him with an RKO, followed by a Cody Cutter for the pinfall.
