This week’s WWE Smackdown featured the debut of two talented NXT Superstars who were put in as a tag team. Tegan Nox and Shotzi Blackheart made their much-awaited debut in WWE as the duo faced Smackdown Women’s tag team champions Tamina and Natalya.
The pair, now simply going by the name “Shotzi” and “Nox,” stunned the champions as they defeated them via a clean pin. Shotzi and Nox, who were wrestling in several dark matches before their debut, could end up being challengers for the Women’s Tag Team titles.

Shotzi started by saying that the victory against the tag team champions is just the beginning of what they can achieve. Shotzi then spilled the beans about the reason she comes out in a tank. She said that the tank symbolized many of the qualities that the team of Shotzi and Nox possess.

Shotzi added- ” You know why we come out on a tank? Because the tank symbolizes strength… It symbolizes dominance. The great used tanks to conquer lands and that is exactly what Nox and I are going to do… Conquer SmackDown…”
The duo then spoke about the current women’s tag team champions Tamina and Natalya. Shotzi stated that the time has come for the tag team champions to step aside.
“It’s time for them to step aside and give some room for the unconventional and unpredictable SmackDown’s newest unstoppable tag team,” Shotzi added.
How will Shotzi and Nox fit into the women’s tag team picture?
The WWE Universe was excited to see Nox and Shotzi’s debut on the main roster. The duo’s victory against the SmackDown women’s tag team champions was no fluke.

Henceforth, the team of Shotzi and Nox will face Tamina and Natalya for the Championship. The only dubiety lies in the timing and the stage.
Tegan Nox, who was sidelined for over a year, made her comeback at the NXT The Great American Bash. Her return was an immense shock for her old nemesis, Candice LeRae, who eventually lost her tag team title because of the distraction caused by Nox.

WWE fans are now perplexed thinking about whether the storyline between LeRae and Nox will continue. On the other hand, Shotzi Blackheart was the tag team partner of Ember Moon in NXT. So, if the debut on WWE SmackDown is a permanent thing, then the storylines of both these Superstars in NXT may have come to a closure.
