Jeff Hardy was the first one to grab an instrument. He grabbed a violin, and looked to split Elias’ head open with it, but he smashed Hardy with a high knee as he came off the steel steps at full speed. The 24/7 Championship cartoons interrupted the match, but Hardy and Elias got rid of them with guitars.

Both competitors upped the violence after the commercial break. Elias ran Hardy head first into a guitar wedged in the corner. He then tried to bust Hardy open with the help of guitar picks stuffed in his knuckles.

Elias proceeded to run into a gong in a hilarious fashion. Hardy took advantage of the situation and went on a flurry, until Elias smashed him with a guitar as he came off the top rope with the Whisper in the Wind.

A scary finish to an entertaining match

The finish of the match was an incredibly scary moment, a trademark of Jeff Hardy’s matches. This was probably the scariest move Jeff Hardy attempted to pull off, since he swung off the roof of Hell in a Cell in 2018. He tried to take out Randy Orton, laying prone on a table, but Orton managed to slide off and Hardy crashed and burned through the table.

Hardy laid Elias over a table and laid a couple of violins on top of him. He then climbed to the top rope and hit him with an awesome Swanton Bomb. Unfortunately, the back of Jeff’s head hit the steel steps as he executed the move.

The referees checked on Hardy and asked him if he was okay to continue. Hardy said he was okay and covered Elias for the big win. A crash-landing like that could have ended horribly for Jeff Hardy, but we’re very glad and relieved he’s alright.

Hardy has dived off ladders, swung from the roof of Hell in a Cell, been speared off a 20-foot ladder, 20 feet in the air! Jeff has performed every single crazy move in the playbook and has walked away unscathed on many occasions.
