Twitter Reacts to Thrilling Ladder Match at WWE Clash of Champions 2020

WWE Clash of Champions had an insane match to kick off the big event. Jeff Hardy had to defend his Intercontinental Championship against Sami Zayn and AJ Styles.

Zayn, the actual Champion, returned to re-establish his reign, but Hardy had already fought long and hard to win the new title from AJ Styles. Styles, on the other hand, wanted to make the most of the opportunity and steal the gold from under the two rivals.

The match was an epic encounter between three professional wrestling geniuses. The ladders were used to their extent, and no stone went unturned in the brutal match.

Sami Zayn attacked Hardy dangerously with a ladder but got paid in interest, or maybe even more. Hardy caught Zayn on the ladder, and executed an insane Swanton Bomb from another ladder!

Zayn had a very bad experience for the rest of his match. Thrown around by AJ Styles as well, the ‘legitimate’ champion had to endure painful bruises on his back.

However, he still managed to best his opponents and re-establish himself in style. In the trial by fire, the true king emerged, standing tall on the ladder over the fallen.

WWE fans were impressed by the excellent performance of Jeff Hardy

We have seen a lot of classic ladder matches over the years. Jeff Hardy has been, unsurprisingly, in most of them.

“The Charismatic Enigma” puts himself through everything during these matches, but this time he may have gone too far. Unable to clear off Zayn from the ladder, Hardy lost it all.

As of now, we do not know if Hardy will continue the feud with Sami Zayn, or what AJ Styles has in mind either. I expect Styles to move to newer and fresher ground.

Although, Hardy could also be given another storyline, but keeping him on Intercontinental track would be something understandable.

The match was absolutely thrilling and its no doubt that fans enjoyed it. We hope to see a lot more of this great content and be mesmerized by Jeff Hardy. ‘Fraudulent’ or not, he is still one of the best performers.
