Roman Reigns might have a new challenger on SmackDown before he continues his rivalry with Brock Lesnar. Though Lesnar vs Reigns is fantastic, the new challenger would be a huge matchup as well. The Charismatic Enigma, Jeff Hardy, recently talked about his desire to face the WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns.

Hardy got everyone talking again after his impressive display at the Survivor Series PPV. Reigns, on the other hand, is currently in the middle of a massive push from WWE and will be most likely to pick up the win. However, if Hardy somehow gets the better of the Tribal Chief, it will be a perfect farewell gift for the WWE legend prior to his retirement.

Appearing on Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions, Hardy revealed he would love to battle against Roman Reigns before his retirement. The former United States Champion said, “The Bloodline, you know, they aggravate me and he always talks about being the head of the table. I wanna break the head of the table.”
