Royal Rumble 2022 may not have John Cena or Shawn Michaels, but there is someone who could possibly make an entrance during the Royal Rumble men’s match – Chris Masters.

He took to social media to do the infamous Royal Rumble entrance countdown and then showed his entrance. Of course, this could be a possible teaser and he may not come at all.

However, WWE is known for bringing back former Superstars at Royal Rumble matches. In 2021, WWE brought back Edge and Christian. While Edge continued working with WWE, Christian Cage moved on to AEW.

In fact, WWE has already announced that Mickie James will be a part of the Royal Rumble Women’s match.

John Cena could possibly be a part of the Royal Rumble too

As of this moment, The Champ is not a part of the WWE roster. Now, one doesn’t necessarily need to be a part of the roster to be a part of the Royal Rumble match.

The last time John Cena was working with WWE, he was working the SummerSlam 2021 main event against Roman Reigns. Considering his last WWE appearance was at a PPV, he could very well make a return at PPV as well.
