Is John Cena going to retire from the WWE?

Things did not go very well the last time Cena faced off in the ring for a title match. The 45-year-old Doctor of Thuganomics lost to the current WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns, at SummerSlam 2021. Fans speculate that Cena’s loss kick-started his hiatus from professional wrestling.

When asked about retirement, Cena gave an introspective and realistic reply. “I know I’m not done in the ring, but I am realistic with where I’m at in my life, and I’m 45, and I can tell you from being a 16-time champion, it is very tough to win, and the top of that mountain is a young man’s game,” remarked Cena.
