There is only a day left for John Cena‘s grand return to WWE. This time he will stay in the Stamford-based promotion for a little longer as the company has booked him to do several shows, including the SuperStar Spectacle scheduled for Hyderabad India on Friday, September 8.

Cena’s WWE return will take place amid the SAG-AFTRA strike, which has raised many questions in people’s minds. One such question is whether he is returning to WWE for selfish reasons only because his Hollywood projects have come to a halt due to the strike.

He said, “If I know WWE, I know I’m thinking this deal with John Cena, especially if he’s booked to wrestle overseas or wherever Superstar Spectacular is, has been inked paper a long time ago, something that was just let’s do it this week kind of thing.”

Gewitz – Current SVP of Development at Dwayne Johnson‘s “Seven Bucks Productions” – states that as per his experience in WWE, he knows WWE plans a booking well before the scheduled date. Therefore, he thinks WWE had planned Cena’s return before the strike even took place.

Therefore, there is no link between the Hollywood strike and Cena’s return this week. Nevertheless, what can fans expect for the superstar’s return to the promotion?
