WWE legend John Cena is arguably the most polarizing pro-wrestler to ever lace up a pair of boots. Throughout his career, fans have either completely loved him or have outright hated him.

However, this didn’t stop The Peacemaker actor to get to the top of the mountain. Cena’s run with Vince McMahon’s company was divided into two phases – Doctor of Thuganomics and Hustle, Respect, and Loyalty.

For the first few years of his career, Cena used to don jerseys and caps with a big chain in his neck and would cut promos while freestyling. He would verbally assault his opponents before actually fighting them.

The gimmick slowly faded away when the WWE went more in the direction of PG-13 and Cena became all about never giving up. Since then, Cena rarely visited back to this gimmick, and whenever he did, the WWE Universe loved it.

John Cena might get back in the ring
