John Cena Shares Real Reason Why He Doesn’t Want to Become a Father Yet: “It’s Hard to Keep Connections With Those in My Life That I Love”

John Cena appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show in his Peacemaker costume to promote his newly released series.

During the conversation, Drew Barrymore revealed that Cena was the number one granter of Make A Wish with 650 wishes. Considering he’s really good with children, Drew Barrymore asked if he’s thinking of embracing fatherhood soon.

The WWE Champ revealed that while he may be good with children but that doesn’t make him ready to be a parent.

“I really enjoy my life. I have been riding a lightening bolt for quite some time now. And, I’ve been given opportunities to do and see things I didn’t even dream of. And, I had some pretty lofty dreams. It’s hardwork. It’s hardwork to balance the time. I need to run myself correctly, it’s a hard work to be the best partner and husband I can be to my loving wife.”

“It’s hard to keep connections with those in my life that I love. And, it’s also hard to put in an honest day’s work. Just my perspective, totally not qualified. But I think, just because you might be good at something is, for me, not a strong enough reason to do that. You have to have passion for it. You have to have fuel for it.”

Years back, Cena and Bella were the power couple of WWE. They worked together, built together, and everyone knew they were in a relationship.

Unfortunately, their relationship took a sour turn, which resulted in them splitting up when Cena revealed he didn’t want children. On the other hand, Nikki Bella wanted to start a family.

Eventually, John Cena agreed to have children but Nikki Bella didn’t want Cena to make compromises because of their relationship or what she wanted.
