The ‘Champ‘ is currently ruling the theatres with his latest Hollywood project, F9. Although Dwayne Johnson is a part of the Fast and Furious franchise, he wasn’t a part of the F9 project with John Cena. Hence, fans were deprived of seeing the former WWE rivals get back at it on the big screen.
During an interview with The Sun, John Cena talked about the possibility of re-igniting his feud with The Rock in Hollywood. He said, “That would be entertaining to watch, and unbelievable to be a part of.”

We completely agree with Cena here. It would be a treat to watch these two fine entertainers on the screen and in all sense, it would be unbelievable. Or shall we say, ‘Once in a Lifetime?’
The Rock does have a lot of movies under his belt compared to John Cena, but even the latter is climbing up the ranks. In fact, Cena has three upcoming films after F9.
And let us remind you; none of them are small-budget films. They are big projects. One is DC’s Suicide Squad, while the other has Jackie Chan as the co-star. Needless to say, John Cena is catching up to The Rock.
The 16-time World Champion has done an exceptional job in F9. Cena’s work as a villain legitimately breathes fresh air to his character. After all, most people know him as the righteous, Hustle, Loyalty, Respect guy.

We don’t want to give away the plot of F9 for those who haven’t watched. But it would really be exciting if we see Cena and The Rock together in a Fast and Furious franchise movie.
In the end, it is the holy grail of all Hollywood film franchises. In wrestling terms, it is the WrestleMania of Hollywood movies.
