Recently, during an episode of The Pat McAfee Show 2.0, Cena talked about WWE and admitted that he is as passionate as the people on the other side of the barrier.

Cena said, “I’m as passionate as the people on the other side of the barrier. You know WWE is that weird zone where it isn’t a pure sport. It’s not he who runs fastest wins. It is a participation event with every person involved.”
Further, the former WWE Champion mentioned that during the sporting events, the audience is going crazy and there is tension in the air. He admitted he always wanted the arena to be rocking and it won’t be fair to the fans if he goes out there apathetic.
“I always just wanted the arena to be rocking and everyone expects and shows up with high energy and for me to go out there apathetic or wanting to be somewhere else isn’t fair to all those fans,” Cena added.
