John Cena is busy like a bee. From giving blockbuster movies to making an appearance inside the squared circle, he never stops pushing himself to put more on his plate. Well, it looks like there might be one more project that The Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect soldier can add to his plate in the near future.

The 16-time World Champion recently had a chat with one of his friends/ former co-stars to talk about doing a sequel to a comedy movie released in 2018. Let’s dig in and find out more.

Will fans get Blockers 2?

Recently, Ike Barinholtz in an interview for Comicbook revealed he and The Chain Gang Solider had a conversation over the text about doing a sequel to their popular comedy movie named ‘Blockers.’ He said, “You know I was just texting with John Cena yesterday, and you know… high school kids gotta go to college! And college kids gotta go to graduate school!”

In addition, he also gave insight into the possibility of ‘Blockers’ spawning more than 2 or 3 sequels. “Bring your grandparents to school day – and then we go off on a horny adventure. We’re older… but I don’t know, sounds kind of fun,” said the 46-year-old actor.

This could be the cherry on the top for an already impressive year for the Hollywood actor.

John Cena will have a busy 2023

The Doctor of Thuganomics has a hectic schedule this year. Recently fans found out that he will be at WrestleMania 39 this year. Yesterday’s Monday Night Raw witnessed Austin Theory interrupting Cena and offering him a gift.

The gift was nothing but Theory putting his WWE United States Championship on the line at the biggest PLE of this year. After taking multiple digs at the reigning United States Champion, The Leader of Cenation said yes to Theory’s challenge with the approval of the WWE Universe.

Additionally, two blockbuster movies from popular franchises featuring The Prototype are set to be released this year. The first movie in a busy lineup is ‘Fast X’ from the Fast and Furious franchise, which will hit the big screen in May this year. The other one is ‘Mutant Mayhem’ from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle franchise. The movie will release in August.

Cena will have a busy schedule this year because of all the traveling and promotion work he will be doing for his upcoming movies.
