John Cena is well-known for his gregariousness backstage. He is also one of the most likable personalities. Cena has the gift of putting smiles on his admirers’ faces with his oh-so-ebullient presence. He is, after all, the Make-A-Wish Foundation’s record-breaking grantor. However, the former poster boy of Vince McMahon’s company may find himself in the crosshairs of an AEW star.

The AEW wrestler in question is none other than The Big Bad Broady King. Cena’s recent activity backstage spurred Brody King to threaten John Cena on social media.

The Money in the Bank premium live event saw the surprise return of the sixteen-time World Champion. His last surprise return to the Money in the Bank PLE came in 2021. The WWE Icon-turned-Hollywood actor made a huge announcement before delivering an Attitude Adjustment to Grayson Waller. Nevertheless, wrestling fans gave a rousing reception to John Cena’s presence at the O2 Arena in London

Naturally, everybody wants to interact with a megastar like John Cena. In a shady video clip making the rounds online, fans saw Cena having a chat with ‘The Eradicator’ Rhea Ripley, backstage. Funnily enough, at the end of the video, John Cena turns his head toward the camera after Rhea Ripley abandons him to standalone.

Reacting to the video, AEW star Brody King took to Twitter to hilariously threaten the Peacemaker actor. He tweeted, Damnit… now i have to beat up John Cena.”

While his tweet was random, fans couldn’t help but join in on the banter. Broady King recently assaulted Darby Allin during an autograph signing. His actions have ignited a rivalry between him and Allin. As for John Cena and Rhea Ripley, John Cena’s days of skirt-chasing are over as he is a happily married man.

Furthermore, the 46-year-old star is currently involved in an upcoming film project, Head Of State, starring alongside Idris Elba and Priyanka Chopra.

John Cena has made several sporadic appearances so far in 2023. Luckily, he happened to be in the same city as the venue of Money in the Bank. We will have to wait and see how long it takes before Cena makes his next appearance.

The UK’s MP is excited about John Cena’s idea of London hosting a WrestleMania event in the future

The wrestling world has been buzzing ever since John Cena made his return to push for London to host a future WrestleMania event. Given that WrestleMania is the grandest spectacle in sports entertainment, there are many cities and countries that would love to host the event.

Reacting to John Cena’s proposal, The UK’s MP, Alex Davies told BBC Newsbeat that she would love for it to happen. She said, “I would love for it to happen,” she continued, “The APPG have already been talking about how we can help to make that happen in whatever way we can in terms of facilitating some conversations.”

However, it is highly unlikely that WrestleMania will take place in London anytime soon. The WWE has slated the 40th edition of the Show of Shows to emanate from Philadelphia in 2024. And WWE is reportedly in the final stages of picking another location in the US for WrestleMania 41.

It remains to be seen when London finally hosts the Grandest Stage.
