John Cena’s “Validation” Reminds Top Star That He Is on the “Right” Path- “It’s Means Much but They’re Heavy.”

With 16-wold title reigns in WWE, John Cena carries a legendary status and resides in the list of one of the greatest of all time in WWE. You know, you are doing one hell of a job when the legend himself praises you for your work. Speaking of, a top star recently got validation from Cena after his incredible win at Money in the Bank on July 1.

The superstar in question is none either than Mr. Money in the Bank, Damian Priest. Having accomplished a monumental feat in his wrestling career at MITB, ‘The Champ’ validated him backstage at the O2 arena. Priest felt overwhelmed with gratitude for the kind and generous gesture.

Speaking on the latest episode of WWE The Bump podcast, ‘The Archer of Enemy’ expressed his feelings about getting endorsed by Cena. He stated that ‘The Champ’ instilled a feeling that he is on the right path to success after spurring him on.

“It kind of just reminds [me], the superstar reminds me that I’m doing things right and I’m succeeding. So things like that as much as sometimes don’t look like it means much, but they’re heavy and they sit on me heavy,” he said. 

He added, “Because I know what that means. I know that they are going out of their way, just to kind of praise us and give us their step of approval. So It’s heavy and I’m really appreciative of that.”

Priest has worked hard to get where he is right now. Cena’s validation was the ultimate reward for the tremendous feat he accomplished on Saturday. However, the WWE Universe believes otherwise.

John Cena went against the fans to endorse Priest

LA Knight was the fan’s favorite for winning the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match. The fans were rooting for him all the way. But he didn’t come out victorious from the bout. Fans believe he was robbed and would have been the perfect fit to be Mr. Money in the Bank.
