We sometimes get offended when we get bullied on social media or anywhere else. It becomes a norm these days to troll people without any reason. But we can always bounce back in life, choosing not to take this thing in mind. A great example of this is none other than the 16-time WWE world champion John Cena.
The former WWE is star widely known for being quite straightforward by nature. He didn’t compromise with his own authentic self at any cost. This characteristic actually stemmed from his very childhood when he refused to give up on his unique musical taste for escaping bullying.

John Cena got bullied in his childhood for his different music taste
WWE fans are not unaware of Cena’s love for Hip Hop music, as he previously shed light on that during several interviews and interactions. His iconic catchphrase ‘You Can’t See Me’ also came from his own rap album back in 2005.
But this music taste didn’t sit well with others around him, who mostly liked Rock n’ Roll and loud metal music. They didn’t even refrain from trolling Cena for this. Sharing the terrible childhood experience, the Cenation leader noted in an interview on Whiskey Ginger, ‘I got bullied for listening to hip-hop music growing up in West Newbury Massachusetts.”
Despite being beaten every day for sticking to his odd choice, the wrestling hero didn’t change himself. He even didn’t consider coming up with a counterattack. Detailing his feelings and motivation to keep going amid the tough situation, the star further stated, ‘It would be easy to just be like, okay, I’ll dress the way they want. No one will pick on me anymore. I’d got even more like l never really used physical violence to beat violence. I just was myself even more right and I think I’ve always just had a weird courage to be like ‘man I should try that I should try this and see where it goes in.'”
